וַיֹּ֤אמֶר דָּוִד֙ אֶל־אֲבִישַׁ֔י עַתָּ֗ה יֵ֧רַֽע לָ֛נוּ שֶׁ֥בַע בֶּן־בִּכְרִ֖י מִן־אַבְשָׁל֑וֹם אַ֠תָּה קַ֞ח אֶת־עַבְדֵ֤י אֲדֹנֶ֙יךָ֙ וּרְדֹ֣ף אַחֲרָ֔יו פֶּן־מָ֥צָא ל֛וֹ עָרִ֥ים בְּצֻר֖וֹת וְהִצִּ֥יל עֵינֵֽנוּ׃
Rzekł Dawid do Abiszaja: Teraz wyrządzi nam Szeba, syn Bichri, więcej zła niż Absalom; zabierz przeto sam ludzi pana swego, a puść się w pogoń za nim, aby nie znalazł jakich miast obwarowanych, a zasępił oko nasze.
